Matt Popovits | Pastor; Husband; Dad

Since 2005 Matt has served as a pastor at CrossPoint Community Church in Houston, Texas; recognized as one of the fastest growing and most creative congregations in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. 

There, Matt is charged with creatively communicating and thoroughly educating CrossPoint and its surrounding community in the story of God through Jesus Christ.  Matt also oversees the production of short teaching films called 5StoneFilms.

Prior to becoming a pastor Matt studied acting at the University of Michigan department of Theatre and Dance; and later received his MDIV from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis.
